I had a strange thought today and it forced me to update my blog after quite a few days. It is difficult to stay connected to your blog with the fast life.
Sometimes in life however, you are not left with any option but to think deep. How long can you be platonic?. People say, we should not think much as it complicates things. However, how long can we be fake and ignore the thoughts that come to our mind and unsettle us and create ripples in our soul?
It is important to listen to what our soul has to say to us. It is the most difficult task!
You ask me why? As children our subconscious mind was closer to us. We were “genuine” and happy. As adults, the subconscious mind has been covered with innumerable conscious thoughts from people around and is almost dormant now. If you ever watch children, you will see no falseness in them. They cry when they want to cry and speak their heart out. That is the secret behind their peaceful face and happy energy. Then why as adults do we have to run after happiness?. Why do we have to link happiness to material things and specific situations?. I will be happy once I own a big house or I will be happy when I have a lot of money. Why?. Happiness is that ladybug, that runs away from you and disappears when you want to catch it, but when you sit down and relax, it climbs onto you and right onto your palm for you to admire it!.
The key to happiness I realized is just being comfortable in our own skin, respecting ourselves and others and living a life of passion. Most importantly, stop being fake in anything that we do.
Speak your heart out, fire your passion and stop being strategic and start being genuine.
